Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 06/06/2025.

We at Emerge Academy UK are working to make our site emergeacademyuk.com accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG guidelines. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings

  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen

  • navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software

  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

  • We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

  • AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

Requests, issues, and suggestions
